About Steve

The neighborhood where Steve grew up played a significant role in his life.  He learned by example from family, neighbors, friends, parents, and teachers.  He simplified using situational humor as a gateway to communication. He was taught self discipline from home, school, and at religious services.

Steve learned about sportsmanship playing competitive sports and games and by following the rules of each game. He couldn’t wait each day to say hello to school crossing guards, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, janitors, mail carriers, neighbors, grocery store clerks, etc It meant a lot to him to be courteous, acknowledge others, and treat everyone with importance. He later combined his medical and athletic background to deliver his physical humor. Steven Doernberg is a people person. Experienced in diverse settings and always willing to talk to a stranger.

It was a natural step to take his talents to a broader platform, be more accessible and easier to reach. Steve’s sense of humor is evident to any who spend time with him, and clowning is an expression of that. His mission is that of motivating others, simplifying and trouble shooting difficult or unwanted situations, inspiring people and acting as goodwill ambassador and peacemaker.

He hopes one day to take that that message and the Ambassador Clown, all the way to Washington, DC.
