How can I help you improve your attitude and well being, you might ask. I like to teach folks a new game such as table tennis or cornhole, as it can help build self esteem quickly and is a good jumping off point for learning other games. As you master your new game, your health, attitude and well being increases!  I want your next experience to be positive and have a long lasting affect.

At the beginning stages, it’s normal to be a little embarrassed or feel humiliated. I’ll introduce you to a sport, demonstrate the therapeutic benefits, channel out negativity which will help avoid unnecessary embarrassment or humiliation.

My heart goes out to others who have not experienced the unique opportunity to play a fun sport! I don’t want you to miss out on all of the fun and long lasting affect it will have in your future.

For instance, throwing and catching a baseball … it looks easy, but it’s not. The real fun comes when you learn the basic mechanics! For example, before you throw a baseball, gripping the ball in your throwing hand, legs and hips in alignment before you wind up and let it go. Before each catch, watching the ball fly toward you, legs and feet planted, arms and hands positioned for the catch. After the catch, you cradle the ball in your mitt, ready for the next play. What a beautiful feeling and accomplishment!

I use a similar therapeutic teaching approach with other sports as well.  I instruct and coach pickleball, tennis, baseball, basketball, golf, disc golf, and horseshoes.
